Motorsport has been founded on the race drivers’ assumed knowledge and the race engineers’ technical skills. Over the years, science and technology have developed to make our sport the fastest and safest ever. But human performance is lagging because there are no existing qualifications in motorsport available in Australia to develop a range of performance roles in the industry. There are promising Driver Coaches, Race Engineers, Data Analysts, and Human Performance Coaches with great ambition but no opportunities to learn and develop within Australasia. This is about to change.
